Notes Twitter Apps for Android?Hey guys… I finally broke down and bought a semi-somewhat-almost-decent phone. Nothing fancy. It’s the lowest end Droid phone on the market. I discovered its built-in Twitter app, Peep, was hardly much better than the shit I had on my old phone (You can read tweets, but can’t star them, retweet them, or reply to them from what I can see). I tried logging onto Twitter through the browser and got suck-ass Mobile Twitter. AGAIN. I’m frustrated with this piece of shit already.
I’m looking for a decent Twitter app that lets me read, retweet, reply and fave. Anyone here actually use a phone that doesn’t begin with the letter i? Help a sista out.

Twitter app for Android is good. I even prefer it to the laptop, as it loads much faster and lists are more accessible.

I’ve tried most and I like Tweetcaster best. Twicca is decent too. I use them for their added features. If you just want the basics, which it sounds like you do, just use the Twitter for Android app. It’s fine.

I love LOVE Ubersocial/Twitteroid. It’s about the only one that doesn’t just put “rt” for a retweet and the DM part is much easier… Still a few bugs, but it’s better, imo.

I agree with other comments about the twitter app, it’s klonky but do-able. As for a browser I’ve just started using Dolphin browser, it’s pretty good and faster than the other browsers for droid.
